KUKA Robot KRC0450 - COMMAND ABORTED

COMMAND ABORTED

This alarm indicates that a command or motion instruction being executed by the KUKA robot has been intentionally or unintentionally cancelled or interrupted before completion. The robot controller has halted the current operation and is awaiting new instructions or confirmation to proceed.

Common Causes

  • User pressed the STOP or EMERGENCY STOP button on the teach pendant or control panel
  • Program execution was manually interrupted via the KRC interface or external signal
  • Safety function activation such as a safety gate opening or protective field violation
  • Communication loss or timeout between the controller and external systems sending motion commands
  • Conflicting or invalid command issued while previous command was still in execution

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Check the teach pendant display and controller status panel for any active safety warnings or fault indicators
  2. 2Verify that no EMERGENCY STOP buttons are engaged and all safety interlocks are properly closed
  3. 3Review the program logic and command sequence to identify where the abort occurred using the KRC diagnostics menu
  4. 4Clear any pending faults using the KRC controller reset function and acknowledge the alarm on the teach pendant
  5. 5Verify communication integrity between the controller and any external command sources or networked devices
  6. 6Re-execute the command or program from the beginning after confirming all preconditions are met and system status is nominal
