Safety
Causes and Fixes
Check the part program for G05.1 Q1, G05.1 Q2, or G08 P1 commands that activate look-ahead functions.
Verify installed software options on the control: Press SYSTEM > PMC > Soft Key [OPTION]. Look for AI Contour Control, AI Nano Contour, or High-Speed Cycle Cutting options.
Check parameter 19500#0 (AI Contour Control) and 19500#1 (AI Nano Contour) to verify if features are enabled (should be 1).
Parameter changes require FANUC authorization and may require machine restart. Document original values before changes.
If option is not installed, either purchase the software upgrade from FANUC or modify the program to remove G05.1 Q1/Q2 commands and use standard G-code programming.
